Top-Down and Bottom-Up Approach


Top Down Approach -: Identifying the large modules system and breaking them into lower level of modules until the desired level of output is achieved.
In other words, to break the large problems or a program into a small module or a piece up to desired output is achieved.

Bottom Up Approach -: Combine small modules to get large one. Opposite of Top Down Approach.

Top Down Approach Programming Languages -: 
  • C
  • COBOL, etc.
Bottom Up Approach Programming Languages -:
  • C++
  • JAVA
  • PYTHON, etc.
ALL THE OBJECT ORIENTED PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES FOLLOW THE BOTTOM UP APPROACH.
